KNUD MORTENSEN - A MAN WITH A CAMERA. A familiar figure in Svendborg’s cityscape, where he can be found here and there, and everywhere with his camera, always with a unique knack for pointing the lens exactly where the interesting shot lies. With great passion, he captures people and their surroundings with his camera, whether in South Funen or out in the wider world.
His photography is unsentimental and authentic, and there is a sense of immediacy in his images as he captures life on the streets, at the harbor, in cafés, and in pubs. Knud Mortensen moves with ease through Svendborg’s rich cultural scene—with its art, theater, music, and numerous concerts—both in front of and behind the scenes.
